what are we doing here?

For the last 3 or 4 years I've debated restarting some sort of website. As someone who has spent too long teleologically oriented, that is to say, ends-oriented, there have been many false starts. Will it be for writing? Am I taking enough photographs to make it worth it? Should I focus on consulting? Or maybe my full time startup experience?

Instead of answering any of that, I'm just going to start "publishing" simply because I've been writing and shooting (film, mostly) and taking on some odd projects here and there that have been interesting and engaging and why not if I'm engaged. It's not of concern to me anymore what the point ought to be here, and, if there can be said to be a goal, then let it be that this serves as much as possible an undistorted reflection of whatever two brain cells happen to be shaking hands on a given day.

Writing + Photography

Where the bulk additions to this site will go. When it comes to writing, topics vary widely from missives on leading teams to (my) irritations and admirations of contemporary television.

As for photography, well maybe I'll write something on my approach there later. If you happen to like a photo so much you want a print, contact me and I can make that happen (framed or unframed) for you. I will work with you on sizing, space, etc...
